Where it all started.

Seis Puentes is a project of Butterfly Community Ministries, which has been serving underserved communities for 20+ years.

In February of 2012, Butterfly Community formally launched its new project, Seis Puentes Hispanic Outreach, and opened the Seis Puentes Education and Resource Center in Levy on Camp Robinson Road.

In partnership with various strategic partners, we offer Adult Education classes including GED, WAGE, ESL, basic computer skills, job training, and distance learning. Our Latino outreach includes informational seminars, art workshops, and cultural enrichment opportunities.

Belonging. That’s what drives us.

The immigrant experience is beautiful, but often difficult and isolating. While our work focuses on the relationship between the Latino community and the community at large, we’re driven by belonging. We aim to be a conduit of belonging to many communities represented in our wonderful city of North Little Rock.

Strategic partnerships

Through strategic partnerships we’re able to provide life-changing resources and classes, from GED and ESL to city IDs.

Immediate needs

Smaller donations help outreach that is not in ‘event’ form — often fulfilling immediate needs within our community. From emergency phones to housing displacement needs, we are able to lend a hand and source assistance programs.

Outreach efforts

We believe it takes a community. Our outreach covers a wide spectrum of initiatives, whether it’s backpacks full of school supplies or food to fill bellies.

Celebrating the Latino spirit

Central Arkansas is known for its festivals and events, and these are wonderful opportunities for us to bridge our communities. From food trucks to Mariachi bands, we look for ways to display our colorful cultures.
